Useful and productive jig for your dowelling needs!

Great and useful jig, handy appropriate sized drills bits too. Clear instructions but a "Peter Millard" tutorial video on youtube makes it even easier to use.
Quality is great and looks like it will last too!

Not sure the dowel pins are of use if following the above tutorial.

It's ok. Not suitable if you're trying to be 100% mm accurate. No good if you're needing dowels in the middle of a board either, obviously. There are mm & cm markings but with injection moulded plastic and a small amount of play 100% accuracy will always be hard attain.Read full review...

This is the easy way to make doweled joints for corners or joining lengths. It is remarkable simple to use and very easy to drill your holes accurately.

Buy cheap, get cheap

Drill bits are cheap as expected and weren't straight.
The jig itself is okay but if you're drilling a knotted or hard piece of wood then I'd recommend you just buy a pillar drill.

Requires a bit of common sense to use the device but it is well made and, having dropped it twice on the garage floor, it is quite robust.
Instructions are good, if you can't see how to use it just read the instructions.
My first one arrived without the bolts to hold it together, emailed the supplier detailing what was missing, they immediately sent me a replacement.

Bad dowel jig.

There is easier to use dowel jigs on sale, this product is not accurate, and bad design of the highest quality. If I had kept the packaging I would have returned this item.
