Very unsafty product!!!
I don't recommend this product because it is very unsafty to be used! !! The car stands has very small point of support of the 3 tone weight !!! It is inserted a very small nail as a point of support of the entire weight without having attached extra security bolt in case of sleep or broken down the nail weight support during to the work under the car !!!!!

If you are DIY person or you work alone under car etc... and you need secure stands,this is perfect choice. Rated 3 Tonne each ,been already tested under my SUV. They are ratchet adjustable,easy to use,with more height positions for more practical precise settings. Because of ratchet settings I can say stands are are more practical to use than stands using pin support with very few height settings.
Also legs of stands have bottom plates, no problem using them in less harder ground without extra plate. I like them ,quality is good and robust. (js)Read full review

Comment for improvement
My only criticism is the plastic end caps on the lever to lock/unlock the height, are too slack and not glued, so will be mislaid very quickly, otherwise very pleased.

Better than I expected!!!
Having read many negative comments about these axle stands, I had reservations about the purchase. However an offer I got was too good to refuse.
These stands are excellent quality and value, and I can't even relate some peoples negative comments to these stands.
These are ideal for amatures or professional use.
They are lighter than I thought and do exactly what they are designed for.
Some other reviews talking about little pins, or slack fitting pieces are a complete farce. The stands are more than substantial, with a nice painted finish. The top piece slides in with good tolerances, and the teeth engage fully and securely. There are no pins or rubbers as others have described.
These axle stands can be operated with one hand easily.
I am very happy with my purchase, and I anticipate that they will last for many years.
I will deffinately buy these again if I need more in future.
These stands are a good height for cars, but are probably too short for 4x4 vehicles.
