Cheap, cheerful and functional !

I have owned the same machine for over 8 years and it still works but, the bearings are shot.
I'll change the mains cable (as did on previous machine) on the new unit to a flexible high quality industry standard type, swap over the guide bar screws (from my knackered router) as the ones on the new machine are inferior and, off we go ....hopefully for another 8 yrs.
I also have 3 other high end routers which are used for demanding jobs but for general lightweight stuff I find this 'bargain basement' unit absolutely ideal.....as with all power tools their longevity is dependent on user consideration and experience.Read full review
