A bit flimsy
I’ve just had to strip acres of emulsioned wood chip wallpaper.
It was a delicate balancing act to get enough depth into the wallpaper without damaging the plaster.
After 4 bedrooms, the spindle started to repeatedly come unscrewed.
I found the handle bent rather easily making it unwieldy to use

very handy bit of kit,you do not need much pressure for it to pierce the wallpaper! too much and you will mark your wall! prick it all over,sponge wallpaper down,2 or 3 times,then if you have a wallaper steamer put it on in the middle of the room and let the room fill with steam, the secret is time,let the steam/water penetrate you should then be able to pull of complete sheets of wallpaper,good luck!Read full review

Made it easier to remove woodchip wallpaper
Used this on woodchip paper on my lounge ceiling. The paper came off quite easily with a steamer. I think the roller really helped the steam to penetrate. Maybe I was also a bit lucky and the paper hadn't been painted more than 2 or 3 times.Read full review
