I felt younger and had more energy listening to all these great songs...
First of all, I did not purchase this from outside of the USA. Sure, you can get it cheaper, but I wasn't willing to risk the quality.
The packaging opens like a book to reveal the CD cases. The CDs are a little difficult to get out of the jewel cases at first, but that's better than having them rolling around loose in the cases. They do get easier to take out the more you use them.
There is a lot of variety here from multiple tracks by well-known artists to great songs from artists that I can't recall having any other hits. The quality is very good and very enjoyable using headphones as most CD players do not have great speakers. Indeed...I was able to discern some lyrics that had escaped my recognition back in the day.
These songs brought back a lot of good memories. I felt younger and more energetic just listening to them. There were only a couple of tracks I was not familiar with, but, if you're anything like me, you will be very pleased with this collection. First ,11 discs ,why? there is only 45 minutes on each one. It could have been done on half that. Makes it look bigger than it is. The discs themselves are very low quality, I broke one in half just getting it out of the case. They feel cheap too, you can tell right away they are too thin and light and fragile.. The music is good , however , they ran it through something that takes some quality out and puts in a different EQ curve. They sound a bit different then what we all heard for all these years, like a copy of a copy. Great songs although, .many of the greatest are left off and there is crap on here.
