Singularity (Microsoft Xbox 360, 2010)

Truly a hidden gem!

This is a game that came out with little fanfare and not many high marking reviews. It was criticized for how short it was and how "tacked on" the multiplayer component was. But now that it's easy to pick this game up for $10 or less and as long as you have no interest in multiplayer, the story is compelling, the graphics are top notch for the 360, and it has a very addictive "what are they going to throw at me next" type of gameplay. On it's normal setting it is not very challenging, but it is a ton of fun, and does a great job of switching between normal FPS and horror FPS. If you liked BioShock and more specifically BioShock 2, you will love this game! It's a little linear, but the atmosphere is great and the story telling is good old fashion made for TV Sci-fi.Read full review
