Sioux Chief 660GTR1 Water Hammer Arrester

Easy install, did reduce water hammer.

Easy install and not too big versus the size of the shut off valve. Installed it direct after the toilet cut off valve. Did help reduce severity of the water hammer by 30-40%. Later on determined cause of water hammer was from a faulty (not leaking) Delta shower/tub cartridge about 4 feet away from the toilet. Don't understand why/how shower/tub cartridge was causing the water hammer but hammering occurred with flush of toilet or quickly turning off bathroom faucet. Would recommend this mini arrester if toilet or sink faucet is cause of water hammer issue.Read full review
