Slug Clear is great product but price is high

The slug clear used to be available in all garden centers but it was removed on the grounds of health and safety. like anything that works well these days.
I pay the price because i like growing Hostas and the slug clear works using a fine rose water the pots as soon as the shoots show. and also the ground around the pots. i have good results using slug clear unfortunately you have to pat through the nose to get it. Nothing works as well. use a fine rose on your can the slug clear will go further.Read full review

Price disappointment, product great!

The price is ridiculous!! On realising that I paid only £7.95 last time, I felt on increase to £29.95 was not acceptable so cancelled my order.

Second to none!

I have tried other products and they are adiquate, but this product is well beyone any of the others. It is the only one where my plants are slug free.

The one thing one must watch is that if after spraying the plants if it rains heavily one has to start over again.

Make sure that the rain water from the pot saucers is thrown over the garden just in case birds drink or bach in it, or animals drink from the saucers.Read full review

Slug Clear is a very successful product, I have used it in the past until it was removed from the shelves, so I know how good it is.

This is the only product of the many that I’ve tried that works every time. Yes, it does actually kill the slugs and snails rather than just deter them, so you do get a bit of a slug/snail graveyard after using it, but your plants are saved! Very expensive since it was removed from general sale but the bottle does last me one or two seasons so it’s worth it.Read full review

This is simply the best product I have used for slug protection, it really keeps them at bay. I discovered it two years ago and never use anything else. Best Slug/Snail Killer

Because it kills slugs and snails overnight.
Water it in and it kills the eggs before they grow up, munching away at your plants to eat the pellets which are useless.

Great product but inflated cost!

This product is very effective but unfortunately it is very difficult to find as the EU banned some of its ingredients!
It is now being sold at largely inflated prices therefore it becomes uneconomical unless you have a very small garden and avoid plants which slug and snails love e.g. Hostas and marigolds!Read full review

This is a most excellent product that you deploy using a watering can, and even when it dies, it re-activates when a slug or snail goes across it. Might not be the cheapest, but I feel it is the best

I really rate this product

I have been using this for years now, it may seem a little expensive compared to other products, but I only ever need to buy it every 2 years. I have a few clematis and the slugs and snails have climbed up the trellis to get at my plants, but they cant do that anymore as I use this product sprinkled over any surface in contact with the plants I want to protect.
