SMEG Espresso Machine
I have owned and used home espresso machines (NO pods!) for over 15 years and this is the best to date.
Always bought Dualit in the past, but my last machine which I used for nearly 8 years needed weekly descaling and frequent repairs. This machine seems much more reliable and can be programmed for a number of features - which is brilliant. . This makes operation quicker. Takes a while to get the programming done but is well worth the effort in the long run as it will work with the temperature you like; the water hardness; strength of coffee; etc..Read full review

Triumph of design over function
Love the design but the functionality is poor. The milk frother is too short. The cycle times can get long as the overheat kicks in very quickly. It's great for single shots , but a bit of a pain for multiple cups.

Superb coffee machine
This is without doubt the best coffee machine we have had. I have used a bean to cup machine and a nespresso machine in our kitchen but they are not a patch on this exquisite unit. Perfect every time

poor quality
These may look stylish but in my opinion they are cheaply / poorly made....just as are SMEG fridges. The seal went and that meant water leaking everywhere in a dangerous manner. Also quite a complicated sub-menu to setup the machine. Not recommended.Read full review

Great coffee maker
Switched from Nespresso casule coffee maker to this one, to eliminate the constant capsule use. It comes with 3 different coffee holder sizes, one for pods, one for a single and and one for a double.
