Sure you can buy cheaper tools and many are every bit as good as Snap-on but when it comes to ratchets I will always spend the extra money. When you don't have time to swap out broken tools, you buy the best. Snap-on has the best ratchets money can buy. I have or have had Mac, Matco, KD, SK, Craftsman, Kobalt, and Stanley. Smooooth as Butter

If you don’t have one, you should. Long and strong! Can crank down on stuff with ease and of course it’s smooth because it’s a Snap-on. Expensive, but amazing. Belt tensioners and tight bolts beware!

1/2 " Long Handle Snap-on Ratchet

The condition of the ratchet itself was nearly like new, however the flex joint was way to loose (missing a spring wire). I was able to obtain a repair kit and it is nearly like new now.
