a good catching series of movies
It is an amazing movie series, with good evolvement of the characters, starting out with the difference between the experience front soldier and the desk-soldier both with the training for being a sniper, but one from the front the other from the academy.
The series follows the Beckets family, and shows the effect the professional career have on the family, the relations between father and son, it shows how soldiers being used as tools, the effect of corruption, and to do the right thing in the right situation, to make the hard choice, which not always is the easy choice.

All of the movies are very good and hold your interest. I was sceptical on the movies without Tom Berenger and I thought the would be poorly acted and of poor cinematic quality. I was very pleased that they have very good actors that are believeable and the locations are top notch.
