More comfort and shelter than a bivvy bag and easy set up

Great for backpacking due to its light weight and easy set up. I have not slept out in yet but set it up and packed it away. which was very straightforward.
Plenty of space inside for one however you could fit two adults in an emergency. Good considering it was designed for one person.
The Ionosphere has many positive reviews on YouTube which are worth checking out.

Suitable for summer use

Perfect for warm, dry conditions, where you could just use the inner as fly-proof shell, and possibly the outer for a bit of wind and drizzle protection. Anything more windy or more rain, it really isn't up for protecting from the elements. Read full review...

Excellent backpacking tent

Put it up on the lawn and seems well made. Took it for a night on the moor but it was so hot no point putting it up. Bit early to say how good it is in wet weather. Since then I've taken it on two long hikes and it did a great job. I like the raised pockets on either side where you can store fragile items such as spectacles. The tent packs up small and very easily--the stuff bag isn't too tight. Pegs broke or got bent, so I bought some better ones. Only snag was putting the tent up in a sudden rainstorm. The mesh inner tent goes up quickly but not quickly enough to avoid rain coming through it and making puddles inside. Nevertheless, after a mop up the inner tent mesh dried very quickly. Once it is up, this tent keeps out rain very well.Read full review...

A really good purchase.

I've used my new OMT twice since it arrived recently and it does the job well. Last night it stood up to some heavy rain and wind on the high peaks, so I'm impressed. The pegs are a bit tough on cold hands but not burying them too deep does help. I'm 5'10" and there enough room at the bottom of the tent to store a short back bergen. Oh, and my collie fitted nicely beside me too. Nice, light and compact. A good buy !Read full review...

Snugpack Ionosphere

The Ionosphere is a piece of outstanding Outdoor equipment, so east to set up, plenty of room inside. I am 6ft 1" and there is ample room sleeping. It is robust and provides protection all year round.

The bundle itself is very light and can comfortably carry this inside a bergan or rucksack.

I fully recommend, have a look on YouTube for any reviews, that's the advice I recommend before purchase, well worth the money to pay for.

Quality product

Stood up well with no problems on a wet and wild night 1500+feet up on Dartmoor. Only lthe noise of the wind woke me once, it was one of those sort of nights!

Great bivi

Think of it as a deluxe bivi rather than a small tent. Does what is does very well.

Bivak shelter for couples

Climbing and hiking that what we do. We wanted an extra light, durable tent or similar. This bivak is an excellent mix of a tent and bivi bag.
