Overall a great unit, with a just few downsides
This is a great unit. The quality is good, though the doors are a bit flimsy and have small gaps in them that may gather dirt over time. The rubber wood surface is pretty tough and looks well, but there is a fine gap ( about 2mm wide and deep) all the way around the surface which gathers crumbs etc and the debris needs to be picked out with a knife when cleaning the worktop which is frustrating. Perhaps a clear filler/glue could be used to fill the gap, I just haven't got around to that yet.
The instructions are excellent, the best I've ever seen for a self build unit. I made it all on my own in a few hours. The instructions are very clear and are written step by step with every screw etc listed and in individual bags and every panel has a number on it, plus they supply spares of each. I think it is a bit pricey compared to other similar SoBuy units, but it was the only unit that fitted our space and I like that there is the extendable work surface. Delivery was unexpectedly quick and the unit was well packaged. The unit looks great in our kitchen and gives us extra storage space and a breakfast bar. Overall, I highly recommend the unit and company, and would definitely buy from SoBuy again in future after this postive experince.Read full review...
