Does the job
Tin is nice, although I had to laugh when I looked inside the base of the tin. It was obviously made from recycled metal, as there was bits of advertising (or is it product packaging?) on the inside. Despite the recycled material, the outside looks great as it's been polished to look like the lid. I like this quirk and I'm glad that it'll reduce the carbon footprint a bit!
The wire wool is good, although it's a little too small for the tin. Maybe it'll expand a bit as I use it. It's still totally usable when soldering though, it just moves around a little in the tin.
One final amusing thingy with this product. The factory this was sent from is on the Fuming Industrial Park. So much for that carbon footprint!Read full review...
