Item came in with more scratches on the disc than advertised in the pictures, but was also not locked into the disc's case (which could explain why there was more scratches). For it's price, a great find.

SA2 has a really great story line, and doesn't disappoint. Despite the remarkably cheesy lines and name-calling, it was rather humorous at times, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing the game. The episodes (especially Rouge/Knuckles) are challenging as well, and provide you with a sense of accomplishment once you've succeeded.

I remember how amazing the graphics seemed back when the game first came out, but when you're used to the Wii and PS3 graphics...Well, it can seem a little disappointing. The only other con this game has is the camera angles. This game took me so long to complete because I couldn't play more than one or two episodes at a time without getting nauseous and light-headed due to how awful the angles are. Trust me, once you've played, you'll see what I mean.

Seeing at how inexpensive the game is to purchase nowadays, it's worth the $5-$10 to purchase the game, and if for nothing else, enjoy how advanced gaming has become, and how much it's progressed since SA2.

A Sonic Classic

This game was my first Gamecube game. Being 11 years and bringing home the brand new Gamecube, plugging it in and seeing the first cut-scene from this game with Sonic in all his colorful majesty on your screen was simply amazing.

Unfortunately, I don't think this game will be as appealing in 2008. Some of the stages are simply boring and the gameplay will quickly feel repeating. But if you can overlook the few things that drags this game down, you'll be left with a pretty good game. The multiplayer mode can be really entertaining if you find someone to play with (the railing mode is the most entertaining).

The games soundtrack is filled with rock tunes performed by the band Crush 40, who also wrote nearly all the music for the first Sonic Adventure. Personally, I love the tracks, but of course this depends on the person.

If you're buying this for your kids or you are a Sonic or retro video game fan, I'd recommend this. It's not that its a bad game, but people used to 2008's quality of video games might not be as pleased with this game. But like I said, kids and retro gamers will love this.Read full review...

Definitely a good steal for the price it was at. Product arrived promptly within a week and was sent as is! Game disc and box was clean and not damaged beyond repair. Summary: A great Action game. You can be GOOD or EVIL (the two teams, EVIL: Shadow, Rouge, and Dr. Eggman or GOOD: Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Shadow and Sonic go through speedy puzzle stages, Tails and Eggman ride their machines through 3rd-Person shooters, and Knuckles and Rouge run and dig to find the three pieces of the Master Emerald. After you beat the game as both teams, you unlock a second ending, where all the characters band together to beat The Final Hazard.

Well-kept for its age

This is exactly what I wanted! I purchased this as a gift for my brother (to feed his nostalgic memories of this game).

There are a few scratches, which makes sense since the game is almost 20 years old. But it still works great and the scratches are nothing that can't be buffed out. It's exactly as we remember it, totally worth the surprise on his face and excitement when he started playing.

Great video game collection

The sonic series is very cool for its time an age. The GameCube version is the only version of it that comes with unlockable sega games. The game cube games can be combined or used with specific game boy games through nientendo attachment. :)

Works on wii too.

The Dreamcast, Xbox one, and Xbox x will not unlock the extra stuff on cds.

Sa2b a great game worth the money to get. Awesome product. Thank you SEGA!

I brought this product because i use to and still do like playing this game.I like the ball animation and play style,but i dislike is lack of playable characters to even Amy who get specials early they could have put Cream in to be more fair, so she could get specials with less rings too as well as able to ball up.Other than that unlike some future sonic games this is the only Sonic game other than the advance series when Amy can curl up in a ball which i really like!Especially this animation with other characters than Sonic.Other than Sonic Lost World 3ds, this game have really good animation equally to Lost World.The voice actors are ok,Tails specifically too worried about sonic while could've been worried about Amy instead.[Spoiler warning]They gave Amy a theme and a cutscene,but i didn't like she wasn't playable in last story so it wasn't good the last few levels were awful would've been better if Amy was playable there.An amazing thing is like my 1st fav.zero gravity SA2B regardless of lack of playable characters in story and stage select specifically no Amy playable in hero even as an extra content for stage select sa2b have a lot of playable characters in muiltiplayer,but unlike SRZG the secondary characters are too overpowered ruining the competivity.Sa2b is still an amazing game i still play controlling both characters having fun.One of the best Sonic games i've ever played other than Zero Gravity and the advanced 2 and 3!Graphic 10/10 sound 10/10 appeal 9.9/10.Score 9.9/10Read full review...
