Sony a55
Was looking to update my aged A100, this turned out to be a great buy. Saved hundreds from the brand new price and the camera is working perfect.

Very good camera
it seems that is a very good mid-range camera, there are some very important improvements that I have mentioned such as the viewfinder, the panorama, the video etc. On the other hand the battery is not so good as in previous models and the camera seems to be more and more electronic in comparison to sony a 350 i also have and the minolta 7D. I will post a detailed review after checking the camera for some time. This is only preliminary because I own the camera only few days. The sensor by the way and the quality of pictures are brilliant. I think that sony must print a full compatibility manuscript with the previous and new lenses that feet fit the camera. For example does the 400mm sigma autofocus works in sony a 55 or works only manually. There are many lenses good in quality and past series that sony should inform us for the compatibility.
It seems at least a very good camera to me considering the photo quality.Read full review...
Very competitive even if comparing to Nikon & Cannon , I love both a37-a55
I have owned the Sony Alpha 200 , and now own A37 & A55 , both of these cameras offer some excellent features , I would highly recommend either the a37 or a55 and the other benefits are the Minolta A fit lense fit these as well , 7 fps on the a37 and 10 fps on the a55 a57 etc , good camera , bit small in the body for some large handed people , but I dont have small hands and this as not been a problem for me

Exceelent camera for the person that wants to step up to the mark
It is a shame that when someone sells you a camera it does not come with a card reader so at least you can test it when you open it :(
