Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W290 12.1MP Digital Camera - Silver

Very nice camera

I got this camera to replace my Cybershot dsc-w70, which I thought was dead (turned out to be a bad memory card).
The image quality is very good, the menu is much easier to navigater than the w70, the program wheel is better (doesn't inadvertently turn). However, there are two things I don't like:
The shutter button does not stick up enough to feel and is rectangular (weird) so I have to hunt for it (missing shots), and the zoom lever is on the back of the camera, meaning I have to hold the camera with both hands. The zoom lever on the w70 was on the frnt, and easily operated with the right index, leaving the left hand completely free to hold the reins (I use these cameras on horseback rides in the mountains.)Read full review

very dissappointed

The camera had a bad image ccd great thru view finder however was bad on capturing image to storage. Nothing but bad image distortion.... Not happy at all....
