Sony DCR-DVD403E Camcorder

This is an obsolete model but is very well made and the manual can be downloaded from a site which can be reached ultimately via Sony. Unlike modern camcorders, it does not have an HDMI output, so the video output is just the PAL or NTSC video standard: it will not produce a high definition movie. The facilities for computer control (which I was interested in because I wanted to use the camcorder on an optical microscope and not touch the buttons) are very limited.Read full review...
