I purchased this camera as a replacement for a similar Sony DVD camcorder which had lasted me many years. I use it during training sessions when it's important to have something that plays back through a computer really quickly. DVD is better for this because it loads up and plays straight away. I have used the camera twice and it's fine. I am simply hoping that it lasts for a year or so.
