A great model for digitizing old PAL format DV tapes. Plays back all DV formats (Video8, Hi8, Digital8; LP and SP) recorded with Sony handycams and directly connects to a computer via IEEE 1394 cable (aka firewire, iLink). Digital video playback quality is 7/10 when compared with newer Sony handycam models. Does not play NTSC tapes.Read full review
