Bought these headphones refurbished and they sound great. Clear sound with enough base tone. Really pleased with them. I've spent more on much, much worse 'pones.

Sony should be ashamed

Pros: Very cheap, very light, comfortable to wear.
Cons: Very small, very poor, muffled sound, flimsy, very short, thin cable

Better than no headphones at all but I'm surprised Sony put their name on these. These are child size headphones and so flimsy I doubt they will last long but I suppose the price makes them almost disposable.. The sound is muffled, a lot of bass but next to no treble and vocal sound subdued. If you can afford to spend more don't buy these but if on a tight budget or you're not too fussy about sound quality they are better than no headphones at all and because they are so cheap and light they are comfortable to wear. For the price my review may sound mean but the sound of these Sony branded headphones is very disappointing. For me these have proved a false economy as I now need to buy a decent pair. Sound quality questionable

Ok, but breaks easily

Overall decent product. But there is a minor fault design which means that even a medium amount of pressure will cause one of the ear discs to break off the main part. This was not the case with the older version, which I recommend over this one.Read full review

Not recommended for smaller heads

I have a somewhat small head, so headphones are too wide and the earpads dont clamp fully onto my ears and causes sound leakage.. otherwise decent. Bass and overall sound quality is good.
