A compact device at a great price

It's a great little thing. You hook it up with a psp charger and hdmi cable and you're good to go. You can choose between 1080i, 720p and 480p. It plays some ps vita games, but not all. Check online for compatibility in your region. Generally touchscreen/motion heavy ones won't work. But if you like mostly RPGs/Japanese games and portability isn't a worry this couldn't be better. It's certainly not for everyone but for me I love the thing and it's perfect. It can also do remote play with PS4 games, which I haven't tried but is a welcome feature if I ever buy a ps4. You can connect a PS3 or ps4 controller to it, my sixaxis works perfectly. Keep in mind that it's very small and light so you may want a stand or something, and it's mostly intended to be a single player device. Terrible lag!!

Even when both the ps4 and pstv are hard wired to the router the lag makes it simply impossible to play properly. On GT Sport you have to try and anticipate the lag by changing gear, breaking and steering ahead of time, all of which makes for a poor gaming experience. I tried the online games like pinball as a troubleshoot, to see if it was to do with the connection to the ps4 so I downloaded some ps vita games and that was even

Avoid as useless.

Discontinued by Sony for a reason. You will need to buy a seperate controller and also have it connected via ethernet as it is practically useless on WiFi. Steaming ps4 games to it is useless, its actually easier to use a second ps4 than this. Avoid this product as you be disappointed.Read full review

A great gadget but only for streaming your games. If you are planning on watching Netflix etc. Get yourself a firestick as the pstv doesn't have it.
