It turns out item is not genuine one, opening the enclosure revealed PCB to be poor cheap desing with very low quality soldering. No reset button, takes ages to pair up with console. For an official product

The battery life is terrible and it 'feels' cheap compared to the original one which comes with the PS3. The thumbsticks are stiff, while not a problem in itself, its annoying having to get used to it while doing tasks which rely on muscle memory while gaming. The biggest downfall for the product is the battery life. Takes ages to charge, and drains within a day, compared to the 3-4 days i get out of the one i've had for years, its a bit pants.Read full review

My sons super happy with this and is exactly the same as the one that came with his ps. Slight difference on the finish,it's a bit shinier but hay it is new!

Always a bit nerve wracking buying a new controller with so many fakes around, but this has been fabulous and given me no problems at all.

Not genuine
