Great speaker with excellent water resistant qualities. The LEDs are awesome at night.
SONY was saying the battery can last 24hrs but that's if you are listening on really low volume. Most people like me will turn this XB41 up so mine only gets about 6 hours of battery time. But the link feature is nice it allows multiple speakers to link to one audio source. Despite the battery issue this SONY is very handy for the outdoors.Read full review

Get a new one not a refurbished.

Sound is very bass yang room filling and out performs other speakers of similar price for a refurbished. The phone software makes it readily programed for any mood or party in fact its almost perfect save for one massive flaw.

In stunning is picky for my unit being used /refurbished but the advertised legendary 24 hour battery that makes the unit last all day long and charge phones only last on mine for a total of 4 hours. And that is with the lights and bass boost turned off.

Great speaker for our noisy store environment and might have gotten 5* is not for the sad battery life my unit is plagued with. Read full review

This speaker has great sound, especially the bass. The lights are cool but we turned them off for everyday use. I looked on the website for some help getting the bluetooth linked and it seems like the speaker has a lot of cool function that we haven't even explored yet. Great compact speaker!

This little speaker has great room filing sound in a convenient size package. The battery life is great, the waterproofing is great, it’s just all around great. If you have more than one you can link them together with or without wires, which is awesome. You can turn the party lights on and off as desired. You can tune the EQ on them and totally control them with the Sony Music Center app. Oh. And you can use them to charge your USB device. I would recommend this speaker to any and everyone. Powerful product

I like listening music with heavy bass rendering. So this product is perfect for me. It’s not so exceptional, but for my little experience with it, I was not surprised how it could sound very louder because I owned an srs xb30 which already sounded louder for a smaller speaker.

But this one looks strong and has great features. I love to use it with custom equaliser confirmations, “Priority to sound quality” mode and extra bass all activated. looking to buy another one ;)Read full review

Good Bass and Sound Quality.

I was expecting good sound and bass based off the reviews. It delivers. However, at louder volumes, the bass isn't as strong. Most people fanboy over JBL's speakers and their sound quality. Sony's sound wont exactly match JBL but it's pretty good! Charges using provided DC charger but also can charge via 5 Volt Micro USB. No USB-C port unfortunately. Been only two weeks with this speaker. Co-workers like it. Definitely good for night shifts. The lights do affect battery life depending on illumination option and volume percentage. I used to have a JBL Charge 4 but these are much better! The sound is so full and big. Base is deep and loud. If i want to bring out the treble, i use the equalizer on the App to achieve that.
The LED lights are also a bonus. Great for hosting guests.

I did my research before buying and these are the best speakers around, hands down.
