SONY a5000 So Nice...

I really didn't need a camera, but I saw a small camera while watching a movie on HBO. So as any consumer would do, I searched small digital cameras on eBay. What I found, there are many choices.>
I looked at the Sony a5000 mostly because it has interchangeable lenses, appeared to be small, had numerous features that I would use, and so I went ahead and purchased it. I am very happy with my SONY a5000. They have newer models of the same type of camera, i.e. a6000, and more. Good value for a beginner

I am new to photography and I was hoping to improve the pictures I was taking with my phone. In auto, it's simple to use, and takes good pictures. I haven't gotten too fancy with it yet. I will use it this summer for vacations and taking good pictures of the kids. It's very lightweight, the viewfinder isn't the best, but that's ok. It does flip up so you can do selfies , if you so desire. I haven't tried video, but heard it is very good as well. Excellent but...

Excellent camera, very small and with a flip screen, but if you are a resolution or pixel peeper, the Sony A3000 has slightly better image quality. To it's credit, the A5000 has slightly better color and contrast and is closer to the Nex-7 in this respect. Nevertheless, the Sony makes excellent mirror-less cameras.Read full review

Amazing value for the camera's capabilities!

This camera is everything I could ask for, takes amazing shots in lowlight and takes shots at amazingly high resolution. I love how lightweight and powerful this camera is. I also love how sony gives you an array of different shooting options. Superior auto mode is incredible but I would first reccommend buying one of the stock autofocus sony lenses to understand this mode's full potential. Smooth acquisition

I had been looking for a good camera for beginners that allowed more than the point and shoot options available and the a5100 was a little out of my budget range, and then I found this options which fitted me nicely and I want something to arrive fast so that I could go to the cherry blossom festival and take pictures on time.

This was a nice option for my needs, it was a whole lot faster than I expected and the price range was good. The camera came in excellent condition with all its accessories, I would definitely recommend buying from them as I would buy from then again when needed. And the camera takes gorgeous pictures and I'm no professional photographer. Couldn't be happier!
