The best modern affordable turntable

Excellent Turntable
I have a large LP collection but haven't had a working turntable for years since like most GenXers, my life has been primarily one of various digital formats. When my kids started getting interested in my vinyl I did my research on modern turntables and even some vintage ones. It seemed that I was going to have to spend $400 or more to get a quality phono. Then I had a chance to try out the Sony. Priced at less than $200 I didn't expect much but to my surprise it had excellent sound , looks great, and uniquely offers bluetooth functionality. I know people choose manual operation for best sound quality but we love it's full auto and it sounds fantastic. Great job Sony...big time recommend !Read full review

Great turntable for the money!
Given the price point, this turntable is a good value. In addition to a high quality appearance, the turntable has a cast aluminum platter with belt drive, and a low mass tone arm. Purchased for my daughter, the automatic play and stop functions were the big selling point. Audiophiles may be disappointed with the cartridge, and it appears the tone arm is not adjustable to accommodate an upgrade.
