Replacement PS2

This replacement used PS2 is in good working order with some nice extras including its original box, this may not be the choice of the younger generation but I think this is a great system for games, my existing machine has served me for many years and given me hours of mental fun and learning during my enforced retirement ( I am now 81) I have been unable to play for some time as my existing machine has developed a fault, i thought it would be more cost effective to change it then to try and get it repaired, I have loads of games for it and am reluctant to upgrade to a PS4 and having to start again.Read full review

Sometimes you just can't fix it.

Bought as not working. I have 3x 30003 which I have been repairing. Unfortunately this seems to be some sort of sony experiment. It has a different dvd tray size than any other Playstation I've worked on, and an off centre connection for the motor spindle, the motor is also 5mm taller than anything I can source, this along with the tray size means I can't source a new motor, or cannibalize another model. None of the internals are of any use to rebuild or repair, as they seem to differ in size and mounting points. Lesson learnt if it don't work I'm not buying. Made a joystick out of the case.Read full review

Might be old but can still get some classic games to play

Great system, still loads of great games to play

This is retro gaming at its finest. I was a Dreamcast fan back in the day but I understand why the PS2 was so popular, it's a really great system. Am playing Gran Turismo 4 on it at the moment and what a fantastic game even though it's 15 years old and the PS2 is 20 years old this year. Love both of them.Read full review
