Great bit of kit
Can't go wrong really. Wouls advise Pro model these days, as the pro supports all the high res TV tech. Obvs people will say 'er... Get ps5?' but to them I say, for that money you are in decent gaming PC territory.... Which will destroy ps5 in about every way (aside the odd exclusive game licence)... But if I'm dropping 700 plus (maybe 900gbp plus with games.... I'd buy a PC. And well... Most people have. PS4 PRO is the last great console. Read full review

It is okay
After about a month now the controller has gone a bit funny not always connecting or if I leave it in after it's already full charge it starts disconnecting which never happened on my old PS4. Aside from that it is a good console, I have a 1080p gaming monitor and bf1 is the best looking game p it I played bf1 on both normal ps4 and then the pro it does look a decent amount better a pc price of this could not bear it and I know that as I am very found of pc gaming so it is great value for money if you can't afford a gaming pc. Not all developers care though like only new games support it I love GTA 5 but sadly no graphical difference so in that sense a waste of money but for future I hope developers support it better as many developers just include it in a patch a little bit later like the division has but not really mentioned it and I've not noticed a massive difference. Overall it is s good console but if you're really right on money don't bother for now wait already 6 months for games to better support it.Read full review

Console works fine, screwed with the controller and lack of charging cable
In your pictures, the controller is a Sony Black PS4 Dualshock controller, instead I received a red knock-off controller with a chewed up thumbstick for good measure. It was flat on battery and there was no charging cable, despite the description stating the product "comes with power *CABLES".
I've turned on the PS4 Pro and it loads up fine but I cannot even log in because the controller won't charge. Had you sent me the product as advertised I wouldn't have an issue, but you did not. šRead full review

How did I go this long not playing one?
Iām not a gamer, bought this for my grandchildren, (2 boys under ten) and not only do they love it, myself and their Dad are now buying games to play when the kids are tucked up in bed.
My only gaming experience is my PSP my son bought me in 2007 that gets played occasionally but this is a whole other level. Graphics are incredible, no cliches in game play, sound is really good and the whole thing is amazing to me, a 56 year old novice.
So glad I bought it. One
Minute Iām playing Crash Bandicoot with my grandsons then me and their Dad are racing around the TT circuit.

Been an avid Xbox user for years but a lot of friends use the PS4 so thought I would join them. Very impressed so far, as good as the Xbox. Graphics are on a par and set up was a breeze. Need to spend quite a bit of time to set things up correctly but loads of youtube videos help. Incredible graphics and most modern games are amazing.
Just difficult to develop speed and accuracy when shooting with controller. Will take time and practice.

Got the pro as i wanted the sharpest picture possible from my games, standard ps4 on a 4ktv can makes games slightly blurry as the 1080p resolution is being upscaled to fit my 4ktv.
