These headphones are not genuine Sony. Probably a $1 headphone made in China. There is no corporate address info anywhere on the packaging at all. Construction is REAL cheap and not like what a real Sony product would be. One clue is that it is for your "Walkplayer" LOL. Would Sony really call it that?Read full review

Painful earpieces. Sharp. Do not recommend.

Quickly became unusable - earpieces fall apart, reveal sharp edges.

After a few weeks, the metal covers over the drivers sunk into the plastic, exposing a sharp edge - inside you ear! Then they started falling out (yes, both in and out...) and the drivers sometimes also.

Too Cheap to be True

The sound quality is poor; heard no evidence of >mega bass". One of the ear pieces had a rough spot that irritates the skin. Would not recommend for a friend to buy.

I like this style of headphones. I hate having something in my ear with the cords constantly trying to drag them out. These work well and have held up to abuse while working.
