Fantastic! I previously bought 2 sets of Space Above and Beyond and had two dud disc #5s. That is to say, Disc #5 would not play.
Finally, this factory-sealed set produced a playable Disc #5!
Now I can see the finale of this original, well-made series.

Love the show...

Disappointed with the no-frills DVD release. It's better than nothing, but...no commentaries. Special Features are limited to a narrow selection of TV teasers for the show. Menus are clunky.

Your choice if you like Sci-Fi warfare with aliens and futuristic high tech, etc.

The series was planned with a sequence of experiences with each and all of the Wild Card battle group members against an alien race that had wiped out two unsuspecting colonies. Good action in each episode. Unfortunately, the series was not completed or at least given a logical conclusion about the conflict between us and the "Chigs" as they were called. Of course, the drift of the episodes suggested that we started off at a technical disadvantage but quickly shifted our struggle towards approaching "the final touchdown". The series stopped short on that goal. Surprising shock about the aliens does come to light. The series is recored as 23 episodes on 3 double sided DVDs. Not great effect or movie props, but truly a great series, it's a shame it wasn't picked up for more seasons

The resolution is much sharper than I was expecting - excellent video quality! The first time I saw the series it was on a 32" tv and the broadcast quality was only mediocre, so I was expecting it to be really blurry on my tv which is more than twice the size (72"), but was really pleasantly surprised. Excellent Sci-Fi Series & A Must Have!

I’ve been looking for this TV Series on DVD or Blu-Ray for a long time. It’s relatively rare to find it. The Series was only on for 1 Season. I saw it when first aired back in 1995. Fox needs to stop losing awesome shows

Great show from the 90s. Loved Babylon 5 and Deep Space 9, Space: above and beyond was a show that was closer to current technology which gave it a deeper connection.

Always a Good Sci-Fi Series

I did enjoy the Series when it was on TV - I did notice that the DVD set has at least one Episode missing from the set. It had to do with the Wild Card's coming down sick and there was an Alien posing as a High Government Official trying to leave with Classified Information and I think there is one more Episode Missing from the set as well but not too sure about it.Read full review

One of the best series of all time. Had a beginning and a ending unlike shows that get canceled with no ending. All episodes were good, unlike most series that have episodes of senseless singing and comedy. Well worth watching and still better than just about all series today.Read full review
