Lightweight but powerfully impressive.

I have had petrol mowers and electric mowers for over 40 years but this is by far the best. It is compact and light but strong and efficient, it is also fairly wide where it cuts and you can get closer to edges. I have a lot of lawn and it does the lot on one charge with a bit to spare. It cuts nice and low at its minimum so the lawn looks neat. It was easy to put the handle together and get stuck in. I understand it is made on license not actually by Spear & Jackson but they would only lend their name to high quality machinery. I did my lawns in half the time of previous mowers and am thrilled I bought this powerful lawn mower.Read full review...

Flimsy

Overall the construction is a bit flimsy. Arrived with a broken front wheel and missing/broken cable clips. Easy fixes. Cuts well and is light to manoeuvre. Cuttings bag doesn’t fit well and needs constant adjustment. Definitely built to a budget. Not sure I’d buy it again, but for £200 and it came with a spare battery it was good value. Just hope it doesn’t breakdown as it did not come with a warranty.Read full review...

Best lawnmower for me

As a petite women I find this mower very easy to use. Cuts nice. The battery lasts long enough for me to cut all my large garden.

Spear & Jackson say no more!!

Had issues with one battery not charging but was soon resolved! I had to put on lowest cut (no 1) to get a decent cut! Lightweight and easy to start! I find it a quality lawnmower!!

better than corded, as convenient as petrol but without the chew of cold starts

got sick of my corded mower because of having to loop the cable over my shoulder and kick the cable out of the way if you needed to go over a place twice... i'd always had a petrol mower before and when batteries got better, battery power seemed the best way to go and as of yet, I have no regretsRead full review...

Highly recommended due to batteries and ease of use

Easy to use and charge with lights showing battery % status. Wife couldn’t pull start the petrol lawnmower I ditched but she can use this one while I relax with a drink. The high capacity 4.5Ah 40 v batteries mean 500m2 could be mown with only 80% charge of one battery used.Read full review...

As good as it gets.

Was expecting slightly more worn than this. Same item can be had for a similar price elsewhere, but complete. (mulching Plug would be included, This part seems difficult to obtain.) Not had/used for long enough to give a full review as to how efficient it is going to be.Read full review...
