The Original Speed Racer

This is the 5th Volume of the original animated series 'Speed racer'. A must have for the fans, a real treasure to discover for those who have never seen it before. The animation is not on par with today's standards as can be expected, and the sound is really vintage but I always find it refreshing to watch. With its inventive storyline, likeable cast of characters and old school animation style 'Speed Racer' reminds me that you don't need to pour Billions of Dollars into a production to make it entertaining. My 4 and 6 year old kids love it and the pace is perfect for them, unlike most of today's action cartoons, (not to mention the 'movie' they've made of it) it leaves them enough time to understand what's going on. This was one of my favorite cartoons when I was growing up. I think its good for all ages. It doesn't get any better than the mach 5.

My boyfriend is a big speedracer fan. He has speedracer-volume 1,2,3,4,dvds. So I thought he would want to add volume 5 to his collection.
