Spitfire the Legend Lives On

For those unaccustomed to specific photographers, John Dibbs is in my opinion the best there is in the business of Warbird photography. The reasons for this are his exciting shots of aircraft on the wing in the natural environment of fighter planes, straight up, diving, rolling and performing as they should. Additionally the planes, in this case Spitfires are always in excellent focus and are preserved in a picture during a dynamic life moment. The text and additional period photographs make the showcasing of these surviving aircraft an excellent volume worth having...now only if Mr. Dibbs can shoot the PR. XIX at FL450 streaming a contrail... A book well worth your time and moneyRead full review...

Outstanding book

The photos in this book have to be seen to be believed. Unbelievable quality. The text is well written by someone who certainly knows his onions. It's obvious that the research was taken seriously too. This is an unmissable book deserving a place on the bookshelf of not only fans of the Spitfire but of virtually everybody.Read full review...
