A great piece of equipment for water droplet photography.
I bought this item after seeing a video on water droplet photography and wanted to have a try at it myself. The equipment makes it so much easier to get set up and is so versatile for what you are after achieving. It does however take a bit of practice to tweak the system and see the effects, but is so very much worth it as it is easier to add colour and alter the delay between droplets as well as the amount of delay for the camera shutter. Takes a lot of the pot luck out of getting the photograph and after using it once I was very pleased and looking forward to using it again and again. A great little piece of simple technology that lets you do what you want to do and then just take the photos. Read full review

Unfortunately it is proving difficult to operated
Package arrived on time and well wrapped. Easy to assemble and good instructions. Unfortunately the system only works on alternate activations with the mirror on the camera active and one in three when the mirror is locked up. As a consequence it's difficult if not impossible to take useable 'clean' shots. A must have device for water stop collision photography.
A well designed product that makes double splash photography almost effortless. I have had great fun experimenting with the dial settings and am amazed by the awesome results achievable. Great kit to capture water drop collisions
Tried for a long time to take water drop photos with some success, however bought the Splashart kit. Wow, It takes a bit of time and effort with settings for the controller but once you get them you can produce some great collisions. will try thicker liquids and coloured back grounds. you will also need to try differing positions for your flashes to obtain good lighting. so far great piece of kit.Read full review

I'm extremely happy with my new water collider.
It only took a few minutes and a couple dozen shots to get the system setup and fine-tuned. Now that I've got the logistics down, I'll start playing with refraction and other lighting techniques.
The sample image I've supplied was with a red base liquid and blue dye in the drops. I used a martini glass to ensure I have a good deep center to create the energy for a nice upward spike.
If you've ever played around with taking photos of liquid, you will appreciate having 100% control over the drop size, location, timing, and even connection to the shutter release.

Fantastic Piece Of Kit
I've tried doing water drop photogrpahy before using my own home made pretty amateur set up. Had limited success, you become happy with one good shot out of goodness knows how many. Always wanted to try a kit like this and I am delighted to now own one. It is a fantastic product and comes with all the cables and information/instructions you need. So easy to use and after only a few attempts you get the hang of getting the right settings and perfect shots. It's then down to your own creativity but it's brilliant to know you have the right set up and then for you to choose the liquids, the height etc. Would recomment this highly to anyone thinking should I/shouldn't I.Read full review

Very Impressed
The instructions for assembly aren't broken down in detail but it's a simple piece of kit to put together. After about 15 minutes experimenting with the settings I was getting some decent results, couple of hours later and I was very impressed.
Some people have said they'd prefer if there were markers on the knobs to accurately record what they're doing, I used my phone to take a picture of the first successful setting I found, after that it was trial and error.
I haven't even scratched the surface of the possibilities with this kit and look forward to using it a lot more.Read full review

This is a great bit of kit, The setup is straight forward. The stand is well made and overall good quality. Once you get use to the setting, which does take time but once its up and running you can get some great results.

Brilliant piece of kit
Easy to set up, had it up and running within 10 minutes & was amazed that i had some good photos more or less straight away.
You need a bit of patience once you start changing the size & delay of thre drops, but once you get to grips with the effect each control has on the drops it's amazing the results you can get.
Have had hours of enjoyment already & have only had it a short while.
