quality tv wall bracket

I paid £30 for a bracket exactly the same as this one a few years ago from another shop & there is no difference!
I’ve purchased 4 of these in the past & i’ve just purchased another one today.
I have 4 different tv’s hanging with these brackets 1x48” 1x46” 2x32” & another 32” with the bracket i purchased today.
As long as you fix these to the wall properly they are solid!
For just over a fiver & free delivery you can’t go wrong!

You get what you pay for.

Quality of the bracket was OK. Not fantastic quality in my opinion, but fit for purpose. The main problem was that the fixing bolts provided were way under size for my TV. Only 2 sizes of bolts were included and they were both very small. I rummaged in my shed and found some suitable-sized bolts, luckily. Also. the wall fixing screws and wall-plugs were of very poor quality, and unsuitable for the weight of the TV (Samsung 43 inch). After fitting, they were just pulling straight out of the wall with very little effort. Back in my shed I managed to find some proper heavy duty fixing bolts and decent quality wall-plugs, and now I have a safe installation. It's been up on the wall for a week now, and all's well, but no thanks to the fittings. At the end of the day, it was very well priced, and I guess you get what you pay for.Read full review

Very comprehensive kit, but insufficiently rigid.

There's everything you need in the box, even down to wall plugs and screws and a spanner. It fitted my new Hitachi 32" tv without needing the extension arms, as the holes on the mounting plate lined up exactly with the fixings in the back of the tv.

I fixed the bracket firmly to the wall using all four fixing holes, plumbed it vertically, screwed the tv to it, and using a spirit level, plumbed the top edge of the tv - no problem. But when I hinged the tv away from the wall, one side of the tv drooped noticeably. So I re-pumbed it at the hinged-away position; but when I pushed it back against the wall, the tv drooped the other way.

I tightened up all of the nuts and bolts to the point where the hinged joints are just moveable, which improved matters a bit, but the tv still keeps going noticeably out-of-plumb every time the bracket is moved.

(This tv doubles as a computer monitor, flat against the wall, and for watching tv whilst we eat our evening meal, hinged at 45deg to the wall - hence it needs a hinged bracket).

Although I am not an engineer, I am a very advanced DIY-er, and my gut feeling is that the bracket needs TWO arms to connect to the tv mounting plate. My new tv is not particularly heavy (5kg), but I reckon that the single arm must be twisting slightly to cause these deflections.

However, if your requirement is just to fit your tv to the wall in a permanent fixed position, this bracket should do that job perfectly well.Read full review

Avoid!

Only comes with two sets of screws none of which fit our tv. Luckily I’m a tradesman so finding the right ones will be easy, for the general public it will mean multiple trips to the local hardware store or carrying the tv there to find a match. Other than that it is good value for money but will be useless with the correct screws. I also fit tv’s quite regularly and this is the first I’ve seen with such a small assortment of screws!Read full review

75" TV Wall Mount

I used this to hang my 75" TV, at first I thought it would not hold the TV as the price is soo cheap and it wouldn't be as great as other mounts but to my surprise it held my TV sooo well. It doesn't wobble at all and it such a great quality Item and is a bargain for that price. Did have to buy bigger bolts as it didn't fit my TV the one supplied and written instructions would have been great but otherwise quite easy to fit. Do need a drill to fit wall anchors but a screwdriver is fine to fit the rest. It's sooo easy to tilt the TV. 100% recommended and would definitely buy again from the seller. Fitting tv wall bracket.

For the price it is great value, the delivery was fast. The wall plugs and fixings are good quality. A word of caution there are no fitting instructions although this is pretty obvious. I have fitted two similar ones for my grandchildren's bedroom TVs which cost a lot more. Regarding the wall plugs, no size is given however it seems to be about 10mm, but it is slightly oversize possibly 11mm, do not insert until you are happy with size of the hole, perhaps by wiggling the the drill bit to give a little more clearance. If the hole is tight and you insert the plug you will have trouble removing it if it is stuck halfway and you may destroy it trying to remove it. I hope this does deter people as I said for the money you cannot fault it. Just take your time fitting and bear in mind my caution regarding the wall plugs and you will be very happy with the bracket.Read full review

Not enough space to plug in aerial and hdmi leads

Worked well as in size fit I had a 40 inch tv to mount. Once assembled bracket was quite sturdy. the fact that it can be tilted was a good feature plus all the fittings you may need are supplied. Although it suited the size of my tv it was a little disappointing that because my tv was an older lg model the hdmi sockets and aerial socket are mounted at the rear of the set and the bracket doesn't allow for the necessary space required to be able to use the required hdmi leads and aerial lead.
