Great Training Halter

This is a wonderful product for training a strong dog to learn obedience. It is adjustable to fit just right and it helped me train my head strong German Shepherd Dog. She is very obedient and heels, sits, and is always easy to work with using this harness. I tried a gentle leader and she figured out how to escape it right away. It doesn't cause pain like spike collars or choke chains and allows a handler to keep a large dog from pulling. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who has a big dog that pulls.Read full review

I really wasn’t sure if this sporn halter collar would work. Oh my goodness, thank you so much. My 60 pound puppy is now getting the proper exercise. Before this Sporn halter I could only walk her a block because she pulled so much. Now we are up to 1 mile and getting close to two. I thank you and my puppy thanks you also. when I first took it out of the package my first thought was how in the world will this stop her from pulling.
Please trust me, it works perfectly. As soon as we walked outside I felt such huge relief.

So far so good

This halter has held up OK for my dog but she’s 60 lbs. Don’t know if I’d recommend it for anything larger. Seems a little flimsy for a real puller or a heavier dog. I do like the leash clip being on the back so the lead isn’t dragging on the ground between her legs. Don’t particularly like that the sherpa sleeves slip off so easily.
