I take one of these L-lysine tabs everyday. They help me support my immune health and keep me feeling healthy whilst maintaining my full health regimen. I would encourage anybody who might be dealing with immune health issues to look into taking these supplements. Probably should discuss with your doctor, if you have one, or just research as much as you are able before taking. No harmful additives in this brand of Spring Valley L-lysine tablets. Pills too big

The quality of this product seems fine. The size of the pill is not good. Maybe a horse could swallow them but way to big for me. I tried breaking them in half, they are still big , hard, and catch in my throat. Guess I will have to pound them into a powder in order to use them.Read full review

L-Lysine is used to keep healthy skin and lips, if you have a mouth sore or a cold sore as they call it. A cut in the flesh anywhere on your body L-Lysine works great for speeding up the healing process. I take a 1000 mg pill in the morning and one in the evening for two days. I have never had a problem with that not healing a mouth sore completely. I do the same thing when I get any kind of cut or sore on my body, it can take a bit longer with a flesh wound but it will sure speed up the healing process, good stuff. JeffRead full review
