This works fine, it is fairly quick to heat up, the temperature control seems fairly accurate, the tap doesn't drip, the lead is long enough to allow convenient positioning, and as a bonus there was no expanded polystyrene in the packaging so easy to recycle. Good product but has its limitations.

Well made and good value but has its limitations.

Few teapots and even fewer coffee pots will fit under the tap and the flow from the tap is very dependent on the head of water in the urn. When the water level is low the flow is only trickle.

The urn is best suited to brewing mugs of tea and coffee rather than tea pots and coffee pots. Read full review...

I live alone and having this urn helps me by letting me get a cup of tea or some boiling water without having to lift a hot and dangerous appliance.

Have always bought Swan Tea urns in the past, but thought I would try this. It’s a great size at 9 litres. I like the all plastic lid as opposed to metal with plastic handles of the swan.
