Very useful tool for the serious woodworker
This is a very useful tool for cutting off dowels etc flush with the surface of the wood. It would be a bit better with a quality Japanese blade but for the price you can't have everything.

Poor quality
Quality of this product from Stanley is poor . It’s sharpness of of the packet is far wide of the mark. My friend hand a similar product from a rival manufacturer which not spots of this it is razor sharp and fold away when not being used. Iwill certainly think of this company when by products in the futureRead full review

Ideal for small precision jobs.
A rather thin bladed little saw. Ideal for cutting dowels, veneers, plugs and other little jobs requiring a delicate touch. It will not stand up to too much pressure however but a useful addition to your workshop..Read full review

FatMax
I haven't used it yet, but, from looking at it seems well made apart from some of the very fine teeth are bent over at the tips. Whether this would make much difference in use only time will tell. The handle seems well constructed.Read full review

Good for precision work.
I use this saw for parting off small parts when I am woodturning, it's very sharp and can make precise small cuts.

not quite as good as I expected
I did not manage to achieve what I wanted to do, saw in a confined space. the blade broke of so I borrowed a small universal fine tooth Bacho saw and finished the job. I think the Bacho saw would saw through anything and the blade was so Sharpe and very flexibleRead full review

Flush with success
I had looked at various flush cut saws, but decided on this one as it has replaceable blades at a reasonable cost. I wasn't disappointed with the quality, well done Stanley.

It's OK
The teeth on the saw are a bit coarse and aggressive - normally I'm trimming small pieces, and the teeth tend to dig in.
The Veritas version, though more expensive, is far better, and worth the extra cost.Read full review
