I love only having metric on it - I can easily read on both sides of the tape finally! Feels solid, holds shape when extending fine.

Great product, fantastic price.

Wow, mega tape measure, really strong and sturdy. Highly recommend.
However, theres one gripe, its a nightmare trying change the hook. It doesn't explain at all on the box. I watched a video on youtube and it shown it there. You almost bend and kink the blade, you have to push that hard to get it off.... Be careful!!!

TBH, you'll probably just stick with the magnetic one anyway.

Auto lock is shocking

I had to unscrew a put a 2mm packer inside to keep the auto lock working. Literally had to do this within the 2nd time of pulling the tape out. It is a good tape but you will need to put a Packer inside for the tape to use it. Defo a design fault but it is a good tape apart from that.Read full review

Disappointed experience

I’ve had Stanley fat max tapes before, as I work as a joiner a good reliable tape is a must, this has left me disappointed, as I’m now three weeks in, and the tape is struggling, it doesn’t always recoil in fully, the auto lock button jams, not a great tape
