Poor quality made in Stanley’s Taiwanese factory
I wanted a hand tacker to fire 18g brads for applying graphics quickly.
The first impression is the tool looks responsibly made but as you look closer you’ll notice the Stanley logos are not printed but cheap stickers, the magazine part wobbles about and the firing handle is plastic. The tool is manufactured in Stanley’s Taiwanese factory... a clue, in my mind, to its poor quality!! For those who need reminding Stanley was once a British tool company associated with good quality!! The gun miss fires every 10 or so shots straight out the packet, firing two brads instead of one, it then jams and needs reloading.
The firing pin also overshoots the body leaving a large mark on the surface of whatever I’m fixing!!
Sorry Stanley you should be doing a lot better! I have many Stanley tools that I love and until now trussed your brand! Don’t flush it down the pan for a quick profit!!!Read full review

Stanley 6-TR350 Fatmax Heavy Duty Stapler Nailer Staple Brad Nail Gun
I have a draper staple gun which is slightly cheaper than this but this is a whole different ball game. Far easier to use than my draper is and it has a lot of power. I use to find it hard work using my draper staple gun after a while as its had to push down but this one is a lot better wish I got it a whole lot soonerRead full review

Waste of money
I was doing a building project that required stapling barrier paper to external OSB sheet, saw this item and going by the reviews decided to purchase. The issues started early with staples jamming, gun miss firing etc. Discovered the staple guide was not aligned properly causing the jamming problem. Ended up having to buy a better quality one from a local hardware shop. Not impressed at all with this stapler.Read full review
