Starship Troopers
This pretty fab film gives my partner no end of pleasure; he really loves it. Granted the acting is atrocious and the dialogue even worse, but if you like a film where you can check your brain at the door and cope with Denise 'the joker' Richards for a couple of hours, then this is for you.
Set in the future, our world is threatened by a race of ‘super’ bugs that are begging to be blown up, and Rico is just the man to do it!

Recently seen on UKtv Gold and my boys loved it so when I deleted it off my Sky+ they weren't happy so found myself a great price new and sealed DVD of a cheesy classic film. Thankfully I Sky+ the sequel which is plain awful so don't think I'll be buying that one!!Read full review...

Great fun!
It is a fun, action-packed sci-fi movie. Good entertainment, but won't win any acting awards. Good for a night when yu do nt want to engage your brain.

Was disappointed with this film. Being a science fiction fan I found this film a little childish and had too much americanised gung ho in it.
So many layers and levels. More relevant now than ever before. Cult classic
This is fun action packed sci-fi, but also a very smart, self aware highly politicised movie - which brings elements of other movie genres and meta media together to create a new lens. It's a lot of fun, and highbrow at the same time. Not everyone will get it. Some original reviews make for interesting reading, but as time goes on it becomes clearer just how clever and ballsy this movie is.Read full review...

bit far fetched but great comedy and family entertainment,for older kids tho,cos a little gory in places,but funny gory rather than, sick gory!!!!!!!!!!

Good Sci-Fi Shooter
Thought this film wasn't gonna be much good. Liked the fact that the personalities of the actors didn't clash instead they worked well together and made the film enjoyable to watch.
