Seam Sealer - use a toothbrush

Most important is to ensure it doesn't rain before it completely dries.
If all the seams on the tent need sealing then erect it and use a small toothbrush as an applicator. It is very difficuly to contol the amount of sealer being used with the foam applicator. It works but I don't know how long it will last. If most of the seams need sealing then the tent probably needs cleaning and reproofing. See the Nikwax range.Read full review

I wish I had never bought this item

The bottle this comes in looks like one of those liquid shoe polish bottles with the sponge applicator at the top. You know the ones I mean, and they are all a one-piece plastic bottle that is totally sealed.

Warning! This sealant bottle has an unmarked top section, which unscrews and opens. Having just started to seal the hood of my coat, the top section of the bottle fell off and spilled sealant all over my jacket. The jacket is ruined.

At least have a warning on the bottle about the screw-off section. I can't believe this has happened.Read full review

Does what it says on the tin.....

Bought this to seal our pop-up roof seams on our Campervan which were leaking badly. Takes minutes to apply and about 24 hours to dry completely.
No leaks so far touchwood!

Lid/applicator needs fixing

Good for sealng seams BUT the lid/applicator flew off, emptying contents. Poorly fitting applicator/lid arrangement. At least needs a clear warning until sorted.

Works on drysuits!

Used this on the seams of a drysuit that I wear when dinghy sailing. It prevented a slow leak through the thigh seam that was occurring when I stood in waist deep water. Don't know how long it will last but plenty left to use again.Read full review

Does not do its job.

This item is described as sealing seams on jackets to stop feathers coming out - it does not do this.
