light/laser for non-rail gun

This laser isn't made for my gun, a RIA 10mm ultra HC but I knew my gun was very close to other `1911's. I had to do some filing and grinding of plastic, but now it fits and works great.

Best option for non-railed 1911s by far!

Pretty much the only option for a non-railed 1911 that is practical. Firmly and securely attaches to the trigger guard and seats perfectly around the base of the frame. Does not move or shift around like other solutions. Is not big and clunky like other solutions. Light output is pretty darn good for the size, and there are custom kydex holster makers here on ebay that can make a perfect fitting holster for this setup. Reaching the button is easy with either hand. Laser is very easy to sight in. And once I figured out not to be as gentle as I wanted to be, getting the light's housing installed over the trigger guard was super easy too. Does not fit a double stack frame

Excellent device. It, however, does not fit an RAI double stack or P-14 frame. I put it on my TISAS 1911 and it’s great. Kind of tricky cause it’s a really tight fit.

It really does work very good on a 1911 but with a 45 caliber it's good for one shot then you have to put your finger on it and push it back into place but it is excellent for one shot and truthfully it's good at night when someone is breaking into your house so one shot that counts makes a differenceRead full review

Great addition to your firearm

The only real down side is you'll have to change your holster system, this combo light and laser answers the age old problem of seeing your sights after dark,and getting quickly on target this device will take a little practice but as light as it is you'll Harley notice the difference.I 've got two now,and will be adding a 3rd soon. Great value for the buck!

The intensity of the light and laser is good for short range shooting only. That being said, it varies on the firearm as what part of it needs to be modified to fit your 1911. The colt 70 series trigger assembly is different from others and you will almost definitely have to modify the light to fit. It is a good light for the money and does NOT have to be re-sighted in after changing the battery. A definite +!Read full review
