Memory lane in modern times

If you are a kid from the 80s, you have to love this, a super-bike with firepower and capability to "leap buildings in a single bound"? They don't make this stuff anymore ...
If you are NOT from the 80s, or lived under a rock and did not know about the show, you still can get to enjoy a rare gem from a time where TV shows were unrivaled entertainment, simple and free from today's paranoia about politics, ethnics and "politically correct".

The DVD set is well made, it has all episodes in fair good quality - is not a digital remaster, but it is as good or even better than the quality of VHS or TV airings of the era, or later re-runs.
It also has a special documentary and it is particularly enjoyable since you can appreciate behind the scenes facts and trivia about the show, something today "standard" but back then only mythical rumors.

A good addition to a memorabilia collector, or as I said, a nostalgic of a gone era.
A drawback? Only 13 episodes ... show got cancelled too early ... buy it and watch it to lean why!Read full review

If you are a fan of other similar 80's series' such as Knight Rider or Air Wolf then you'll probably appreciate Street Hawk. Rex Smith plays dashing if impetuous lead man Jesse Mach, and the emerging friendship between him and classic 'geek' Norman Tuttle is one of the most engaging features of the series. The Man, The Machine...STREET HAWK!

This box set captures my childhood on 4 discs. At the time, Street Hawk had it's rivals (Knight Rider) and (Airwolf) However, for me, Jesse Mach and his all terrain attack motorcycle was and STILL IS the greatest. Not only does this box set contain the series but also the Street Hawk Pilot which is known as The Movie.
