This product is not universal as in order to fit it to my hitch coupling I had to use an angle grinder to cut and modify the top plate!

Good product - a bit light-weight?
The design of this is great, there are no problems fitting it but it is a bit light-weight for any thief with a cordless anglegrinder. I really don't think it would take me long to cut it off. Still a deterrent and will slow them down a bit.Read full review

This is made out of thin steel , was not completely painted and would take less than 30 seconds to take off with the right tools , yes I will act as a deterrent to stop someone just hitching up .

Doesn't Lock Trailer to Vehicle
For locking the Tow hitch, preventing a thief hitching up and driving away, its good.
However, its a pity that it isn't able to lock the tow hitch to the vehicle also.
