This part did get the refrigerator to cool again, but it stays at 20 degrees, so now we need to figure out why it doesn’t shut down cooling when it is getting into the freezer zone of temps. We have the knob for making the temp colder set to OFF. Read full review

Perfect! It was exactly the same as the original thermostat on my Sub-Zero model 561.
The wires that connect the thermostat are rather short so I spliced a 16" wire to each one of them in order to make installation easier. The green (ground) wire had been cut, bent back and taped out of the way - not sure why. I lengthened that one too and connected it to one of the ground terminals on the thermostat.Read full review
