Workhorse at War.
Chaz "Sausages" Bowyer, prolific aviation writer, this time takes a Butchers at Short Brothers' giant Sunderland flying boats.
As a young lad I saw one, hull painted gleaming white taxiing at Plymouth Sound in the early 70s. A sight to remember! This book mostly deals with its wartime contribution as Coastal Command's trusty workhorse, long beef ore the humble helicopter took its place.
