Absolute Bargain!
It may be a little small compared to a standard sized tea strainer, but it does a fantastic job. The one I was using was a standard, and OK, but the mesh was quite big and I constantly had to fish tea leaves out of my brew. But, the Sunnex has a really fine mesh and seems to catch all the leaves. I would thoroughly recommend it!Read full review...

Strainer and bowl very small but fine mesh is good
This strainer is about half the size of a 'normal' tea strainer. I don't drink tea so I have no idea how much tea one would use to make a 'brew' but I suspect this item might be verging on being too small. I bought this strainer in the hope of being able to strain the coffee grounds from my cafetiere, but it is too small to strain the the grounds of just one cup of coffee. On the plus side the mesh is very fine and does a great job of capturing the coffee grounds, it's just that it will only accommodate about half a scoop of coffee. Another negative point is that the so-called 'drip bowl' is nothing of the sort. The base of the bowl is raised in the middle and the bottom of the strainer mesh rests on the bottom of the bowl so there is no dripping happening, whatever is in the strainer cannot be strained, it just sits in the liquid in the bowl.
