Good for the price

I bought this for taking pics of products and it's ok so far. Not easy to tilt it. Does feel a bit flimsy but you get what you pay for. I would not recommend it for outdoor photography with a larger camera.Read full review...

A high quality tripod at a low price!

A very sturdy, high quality tripod at a low price. It has no problem holding light dslr's and can easily be disassembled for different configurations. It can easily hold its own with other tripods that cost 3 times as much.Read full review...

Great tripod for the money...can't beat it!!

This a great tripod for the money!! Good quality and works great with my DSLR. If you have heavy lenses, I would recommend a purchasing a heavier quality tripod but for regular cameras and lenses, it is a good one.Read full review...

The item is not as pictured.

The item is pictured as a gold/tan tripod, but you will receive an all black tripod in the mail.

Versatile

Lightweight, but sturdy.
What is great is the ability to get very low to the ground for macro and low angle shooting.
Small drawbacks are that it does not fold down quite enough for backpacking and I probably would not use it in adverse conditions with a long tele lens.
But, then again, I did not pay for a Gitzo.
